Meet Earl Wagner

Earl J. Wagner, Ph. D. is a software engineer at Google in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since learning about NVC in 2009, he has found it invaluable for expressing himself both authentically and with care. He is continually inspired by how an awareness of our needs can help make communication more connecting and efficient. He has attended, and assisted with, in-depth trainings at NYCNVC (in New York City, NY) and NVC Santa Cruz (in Santa Cruz, CA). Now teaching classes and leading empathy groups at Google, he hopes to build a thriving NVC community there and throughout the technology industry.

Earl has also trained in and taught the Enneagram system of personality types. He participates in the community around it, and is a board member of the International Enneagram Association.
