NYCNVC trainings and programs offer the opportunity to develop a deep understanding and personal integration of NVC.

 

We are committed to develop and support a vital, prosperous network of NVC Facilitators and Trainers, here in New York and throughout the world.

We offer an opportunity to concentrate on your NVC skills, with others who are doing the same, in a supportive, nurturing, challenging and fun environment.

Workshops

Our workshops address all levels of practice and learning, from introductory to highly advanced. All of our workshops provide a balance of intellectual and experiential learning, delivered by highly experienced, professional and competent trainers and facilitators.

Our offerings consist of "introductory" and "core workshops" as well as "specialized workshops" for individuals and communities within our community.

Every workshop is a learning adventure and journey. We emphasis professionalism, fun, accuracy, care, humor and keeping it real. We are committed to providing a beautiful, safe, comfortable and supportive environment for our participants, with a minimum satisfaction rate of 100%.

Core Workshops

Core workshops are designed to impart a clear and complete understanding and experience of NVC. They include "The Discovery Weekend", "The Empathy Intensive", The Self-Empathy Intensive" and "The Request Intensive".

These workshops are offered in sequence and impart a conceptual and practical integration of NVC wisdom. The "Discovery Weekend" provides a "comprehensive introduction" while the subsequent 4-day residential "Intensives" provide a depth of learning and experience that gives us the ability to use NVC in our daily lives and to build "NVC consciousness".

Practice Groups

"Practice groups" are regular gatherings to help us integrate our learning into real life. By using exercises, role plays and sharing our struggles and successes with one another, practice groups provide the content and support to help us develop and use the skills to use Nonviolent Communication in our daily lives.

Special Workshops

Throughout the year, we offer workshops for business, parenting, mediation, spiritual leadership as well as workshops for social and spiritual activism. These include offerings such as "Mastering Time", an NVC-based time management workshop and "NVC Playhouse", a role-play workshop. Details are posted below and announced to our email subscribers, as they become available.

Coaching

In addition to trainings, NYCNVC offers coaching and mentoring with trained NVC Coaches. NYCNVC has developed a internationally renowned coaching protocol which has been adopted by practitioners throughout the world. Our coaching program affords a clear process of assessment, goal setting and ongoing practice, inspired by NVC consciousness.

Coaching is offered to individuals separately and as part of our "Integration Program" and "Peer Leadership Program".

Programs

The Integration Program

The Integration Program (IP) is a one-of-a-kind, comprehensive NVC curriculum and growth support system. Designed by highly experienced training professionals over a 10-year period, the program provides the opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding and integration of NVC concepts.

The IP provides all of the elements needed to take NVC beyond the method or the model, to an integrated perspective, consciousness and practice.

It is design for people who have a clear understanding and experience of NVC and are inspired to make it part of their lives on a daily basis... to bring NVC consciousness into themselves and to how they interact with others... Integration.

The Peer Leadership Program

The Peer Leadership Program (PLP) is designed to provide ongoing learning, support and opportunity to share NVC. By providing an abundance of experience and support, this program affords learning and growth with velocity. 

It is designed for people who have been studying NVC for (usually) one to five years and hold an intention to be a "Certified Trainer" with CNVC or NYCNVC or an "Independent Trainer" or a "Dedicated Practitioner."

The Compassion Course Online

This one-year international online course offers weekly support to learn concepts, skills, and insights to create and experience more compassion and understanding in your life. The course guides participants from the very beginnings to highly advanced practice.

Each installment of the Compassion Course Online is emailed to the members of the course starting on June 20th, with subsequent installments sent weekly thereafter for 52 weeks.

There is a member yahoo group that connects our global community on a daily basis, while our monthly recorded conference calls expand our connection and learning. The 2011 Compassion Course has over 600 participants from every continent on the globe. Anyone can participate in the course, regardless of time, financial or geographic restraints.
