The 2013
Leadership Program

Applications Being Accepted

May-Dec 2013

This program is designed to provide ongoing support and opportunities to teach NVC.  By providing an abundance of experience and support, this program provides learning and growth with velocity.  It presents a unique opportunity to integrate the skills involved in being an NVC Facilitator or Trainer while developing and supporting your own practice in your community.

It is designed for people who have been studying NVC for (usually) one to five years and hold an intention to be a "Certified Trainer" with CNVC or NYCNVC or an "Independent Trainer" or a "Dedicated Practitioner."

We are looking for program applicants who are leading or intending to lead a practice group (or equivalent) and are interested in gaining practical NVC training experience at retreats and intensive trainings.

Finances

At NYCNVC we strive to make NVC learning, comfortable, safe and fun, while preserving accessability and affordability. Through alliances with, and the support of, other non-profit organizations, the entire monetary outlay for this 7 month program is less then many single college courses.

The tuition rates for our "non-residential" workshops are reduced through the support of local non-profits such as the Dispute Resolution Consortium at John Jay College.

The unusually low food and lodging rates for our "residential" Intensives are subsidized through the generosity of the Lifebridge Foundation. Most of our residential Intensives take place at
Life Bridge Sanctuary, where comfort and beauty abound. Our meals include vegan, vegetarian and flexaterian choices and are delicious and exciting... of "gourmet" quality.

The program cost includes: 2 Discovery Weekends, 3 4-Day Intensives, 16 personal coaching sessions, up to 27 tele-workshop conference calls, all with a CNVC Certified Trainer. It also includes all materials, including paper or electronic copies of exercises, forms and curriculum. For residential trainings this also includes food and lodging. (This does not include food/lodging for the Discovery Weekend. Or train/bus/air travel to the programs.)

Total Cost: $3200.00*
